  73. brief description of the package and its features, along with
  74. instructions for its installation.  Detailed documentation is included in
  75. the package in the form of a Windows Help file and a .WRI file.

  78. with a Windows program, WITHOUT SPENDING TIME READING A MANUAL, then MWAP
  79. - Medlin Windows Accounts Payable is the program for you!  This program
  80. is very quick and easy to use.

  82. MWAP - Medlin Windows Accounts Payable is a shareware program.  This
  83. evaluation version includes all features of the program.  You may use it
  84. for up to 30 days, without charge (see MWAP.HLP for more details).  If
  85. you like the program, and wish to continue its use after this evaluation
  86. period, you are required to pay for the program. Any fee you may have

  107. ===== Installation =====================================

  109. The installation procedure for MWAP - MEDLIN WINDOWS ACCOUNTS PAYABLE is
  110. quite simple.  The disk package includes a program, "SETUP.EXE", which
  111. automates the entire process.  MWAP requires less than 1/4 megabyte of
  112. disk space.  The program requires no changes to any existing files on
  113. your hard disk.
  114.  
  115. The file VBRUN300.DLL must be in your Windows\System directory for MWAP
  116. to run.  It is not included in this .ZIP file to shorten your download
  117. time.  If you do not have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL, it should be available
  118. from the same source you downloaded MWAP.  VBRUN300.DLL is a "library"
  119. file that is shared by most windows programs.  You only need one copy, no
  120. matter how many of your programs use it.

  122. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  123.  
  124. To install from diskette, you need to perform the following steps.
  125.  
  126.    o  Place MWAP distribution diskette in the appropriate diskette drive.
  127.    Start Windows.
  128.  
  129.    o  Execute the "SETUP.EXE" program on the distribution diskette. For
  130.    Windows 3.x, either by choose File/Run from the Program Manager or by
  131.    double click on SETUP.EXE from the File Manager.  For Windows 95, use
  132.    Start, Run.
  133.  
  134.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program. The
  135.    program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy the
  136.    MWAP files to that directory.  If you so direct it, the installation
  137.    program will install executable programs and documentation in other
  138.    directories of your choice.  It will not modify your autoexec.bat or
  139.    config.sys files or any Windows files.

  143. INSTALLING FROM A ZIP FILE

  145. If you downloaded MWAP from a BBS (or received it in the form of zipped
  146. files from some other source), perform the following steps.

  148.    o  Use the File Manager/Explorer or drop to DOS to create a temporary
  149.    directory on your hard drive. Change directory into the new directory.

  151.    o  Run the unzip program by typing PKUNZIP MWAP13 from the DOS prompt
  152.    or from the File/Run section of Program Manager.

  154.    o  Run the Setup program directly from File Manager/Explorer or
  155.    Program Manager. You must have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows
  156.    System directory for the MWAP program to run.  Chances are you already
  157.    do. If not, you may download VBRUN300.DLL from any BBS.

  161. Once you've complete the installation, you should consult the help file
  162. ("MWAP.HLP").  You may read the MWAP.HLP by double clicking it from the
  163. File Manager or by pressing F1 from inside MWAP or by choosing HELP from
  164. the MWAP menu bar.  The help file allows you to read the entire file
  165. sequentually by clicking the >> symbol.
